A new association for Muslim police officers has been launched in the Thames Valley.
The Thames Valley Muslim Police Association (TVMPA) will aim to boost the recruitment and retention of Muslim officers in the region.
It will also aim to improve understanding of the faith within the force. The official launch took place on Monday evening.
PC Raja Yousaf, TVMPA chair, said: “Through its ongoing drive to recruit more black and Asian officers, Thames Valley Police has shown that it values diversity, and the creation of this association will help to cultivate a better understanding of Islam and Muslim culture within the organisation."
There are currently around 60 Muslim officers in Thames Valley Police, but the TVMPA is open to all officers, not just Muslims.
Muslim officers in the Thames Valley used to meet in an informal way but it was decided to follow the recommendations of the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) who say that any force with a sizeable Muslim staff should have a formal Muslim Police Association.

This seems like a lame attempt to appease the Muslims in the force, after all the racism that happened in the MET recently.

UK policeman = one who swears to other than Allah, promises to uphold and enforce kufr secular law, takes the kuffar as his awliya and wears a cross as part of the uniform.
therefore there is no such thing as a muslim police association in britain, what you have is a thames valley murteed police association.
this is because the above matters are not small, but are kufr known by necessity, i.e there is no excuse for anyone claiming islam not to know the seriousness of the crime and that it will take you outside the deen.
please pass this advice onto raga yousaf,
‘O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Awliya’ (friends, protectors, helpers) they are but awliya’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as awliya’) then surely, he is one of them. Verily, Allah guides not those people who are the Zaalimoun (i.e. Kuffar)’ 5:51

So in your opinion every Muslim policeman/woman working in the UK is NOT a Muslim, but a kaafir?
