Salaam to everyone, i wonder if someone can help me find something i heard a long time ago, i believe it was a lecture by Imam Anwar al-Awlaki in which he told the story of a Man from Bani Israel who was very rich.
This man was blessed by Allah (swt) was endless wealth because he would do the following...
Everytime Allah (swt) gave him wealth he would divide it into 3 portions.
1/3 he would keep to use for himself, his family and his needs.
1/3 he would give in Sadaqah and charity
and 1/3 he would re-invest
This was his secret to infinite wealth.
Now can anyone remember which lecture this was in, or if anyone else has heard it before inshallah?
