First of all, longer/shorter = longer/(shorter+longer) is the basic principle of the golden ration, so no need to say moreover all the time and show it as a separate miracle.
1. Nope, it's close but not exactly it. By my calculations, the Golden ratio of Earth's latitude is somewhere on 21 degrees 15 minutes north or south. However it's perfectly possible a section of Mecca has this latitude, Kaaba doesn't.
2. What is Mecca's solstice line? I'm guessing it's a line, and (distance Mecca-line eastwards)/(Mecca-line westwards) = phi. which would put it at 108 degrees East. It could also be (distance Greenwich-line eastwards)/(Greenwich-line westwards) = phi, which would put it at 21 degrees 15 minutes East or West. Which is it?
