Hi my name is john and I am from the usa. I joined this discussion board to better my iman and learn more about the deen. I have been muslim but chose to hang around bad people. And peer pressure got to me and i made some wrong choices. I have had some ups and downs , battling with drugs ,alcohol,money, pornogrophy, breaking the law period, but i faith allah will guide me to the on the straight path of those who he bestows his mercy inshaallah. , So if anyone has any knowledge they would like to share with me feel free. I am happy with the progress I have made and i am eager to continue to do better.
Welcome to the forum. Alhamdulillah, it is really good to hear that you want to come closer to Allaah (subhanahu wa ta'ala). Everybody makes mistakes but the key thing is learning from those mistakes and progressing forward.
