114 nations and 2 observer states of the UN Gernal assembly voted to limit or end the veto power by the 5 permanent nations of the UN security council (US, Russia, China, UK, France), thus paving the way for a security council resolution on an invasion of burma, and an end to settlements in the west bank, as well as an end to other israeli apartheid policies
