aydin, aziz are both normal names, they are ok. in Islam, only names that have meanings contrary to Islam are to be changed, otherwise it is ok.
Normal but any idea on actual meaning of aydin some say intelligent some say little fire the Quran mentions Allah created the earth with his aydin which could be brilliance or power.
hmm,did you mean: ((وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْيدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ))
Pickthall translation
[adh-Dhariyat 51:47] We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof).
Yusufali translation
[adh-Dhariyat 51:47] With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of space.
Shakir translation
[adh-Dhariyat 51:47] And the heaven, We raised it high with power, and most surely We are the makers of things ample.
Sher Ali translation
[adh-Dhariyat 51:47] And WE have built the heavens with Our own hands, and, verily, WE have vast powers.
actually the word in that verse is read "bi aydin" and it literally mean with our hands.
"bi" means with,"ayd" is the plural of "yadd" which means hand, pronunciation rules add the "in" so it become"bi aydin". it is translated to figuratively to mean Allah's might or power.
otherwise, wiki yields http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayd%C4%B1n
