Whoever fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeking his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven.
Ramadan, the night of repentance and prayer, not a night of songs and movies
Ramadan, an unclosing door
Allah said: The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of Ramadan), he must fast that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number (of days which one did not fast must be made up) from other days.

Learn silence as you have learned speech.
Speech will guide you, and silence will protect you.

Whoever recites [the above] one Hundred times, a thousand good deeds are recorded for him or a thousand bad deeds are wiped away.Sahih Muslim; #4:2073.
