Perform 2, 4, 8, 12 rakaahs salah duha after sunrise before zuhr. It starts from the sunrise to the before Dhuhur prayer.. Yet, the best time to pray it is in hottest hour. Don’t pray it at forbidden time of sunrise or zawwal.
some people called it as Ishraq when it's performed within 2 hours of sunrise . After that i'ts called Chast / Dhoha in my country .
Generally the six rakats after the Maghrib salah is called the Salatul Awabeen. However, according to the Sahih and authentic ahadith, Salatul Awabeen has been used to described Salatul Duha. Saaiduna Zaid Ibn Arqam Radiallahu Anhu said “The Prophet of Allah Sallallahu Alahi Wasalam came out to the people of Quba while they were praying and said, “Salatul Awabeen is the time when the young camels sit (i.e. they sit because of the intense heat) (Sahih Muslim)
There is no rigidness in Islam when it comes to naming, hence, if someone calls the six rakats after Maghrib salah as Awabeen then it is permissible. (Dars Tirmizi p.195 v.2)
The prayer of Duha/Chaasht consists of 2 Rakats and of a maximum of 12 Rakats. It should be read between the time the sun has completely risen from the horizon and before Zawal (zenith of the sun).
This Nafl prayer is read after Maghrib. It consist of a minimum of 6 Rakats.
