If I might add in a comment here........we learn to love God by thinking about the things He has given us and then feeling gratitude to The Giver for being so generous, kind and merciful for giving us so many things despite our not having done ANYTHING to deserve it.

In other words, we love God when we begin to THINK...(about the right things of course. lol)..
