Write to your local MP and ask them what they are doing to oppose the attacks in Gaza. Ask your local mosque to do the same. If you don't have time to compose an email yourself, don't worry, you can use the following template:
Dear (Name of MP),
I am outraged at the current events in Gaza, where Palestinians are being killed in large numbers due to Israeli attacks.
I am also shocked to learn that the Israeli Defence Minister Ehud Barak has said that "it will continue as long as necessary".
I would like to know what you, as my MP, are doing to oppose these attacks. This cannot continue and if you are not already doing something to oppose these vicious attacks I demand that you do.
Please advise me with how you will be proceeding on this issue. I look forward to your response.
