Yep sounds like Sheikh Al-Afasy.... recognised his voice from his nasheeds.
....If thou knowest not thy God, thou art a slave of men;
And if thou dost, thy slaves are kings and potentates.
The heart’s freedom is kingly; its slavery is death,
It is for thee to decide — to be a king or a slave.
[Baal-e-Jibreel, Allama Iqbal 1935]
i see i heard his recitations so many times but i guess the clarity on that website threw me off
The best reciters are able to recite many different ways..
Sheikh Salih Ar'Rachid is also the same way as well budayer.. you couldn't tell the suras are recited by the same person..
They are gifted Masha'Allah.. sheikh Salih Ar'rachid is also blessed with a doctorate along with Islamic studies.. he is incredibly smart.. I have heard a couple of brief lectures by him in physics.. he is really quite impressive..
May Allah swt yizidena 3ilman
