I am a German living in the US. I am a Christian but I never believed that there is a Trinity.
Maybe that is why I am very interested in Islam. I have been reading about Islam for about a year now and I still have many questions about your religion in general.
I like to listen to Koran recitation it's a beautiful thing to me and I can't really explain it but something happens to me every time I hear it.
Thanks in advance for trying to answer my questions.
Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy your stay here!
You have come to a great place to learn about Islaam, and indeed feel free to ask any questions you may have and we shall try to answer to the best of our abilities insha`Allaah-God Willingly.
Great to know that you find peace in listening to the Quraan as muslims we believe the Quraan to be the noble word of God.
hope you find it beneficial here.
Peace
"Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists).".."[Al Qur'aan 3:2]
Thanks You welcome.
I used to live in Berlin and in the same House complex they had a prayer center I don't think it was a mosque. There was many people from Turkey and I would hear them pray all the time. I was always curious what they where saying so I looked it up.
Can You recommend any literature about Islam ? Right now I am reading "MUHAMMAD" by Martin Lings and a English translation of the KORAN by N.J.Dawood.
