I tried to post this a week back or so. I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't have been approved - so just in case I made a mistake in posting it, I'll try again.
A friend sent me this link recently. It is a lecture by Sheik Habib Ali al Jifri.
He talks about how our religious practice and seeking God should make us kinder and more humble - and yet that some people, the more religious they try to be, the more judgmental, angry and harsh they become.
He explains the reasons for this and how we can avoid it by sincerely seeking piety.
Peace glo
Here I stand.
I can do no other.
May God help me.
Amen.
Come, let us worship and bow down •
and kneel before the Lord our Maker
[Psalm 95]
