Every believer’s deeds will be judged on the Day of Judgment according to his or her sincerity of intention. In essence, sincerity of intention means to perform deeds exclusively for the sake and pleasure of Allah. A Pre-requisite for people of position whether you’re a leader of a country or head at Isoc. A famous hadeeth about this topic, which is also considered to be a foundation stone of our faith, is discussed in detail within this talk. We are reminded that as believers we should continuously evaluate our intentions. The more fame and social standing one has the greater fear of ostentation there is and thus the greater need to review and purify intentions at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end of deeds. One’s charity and good deeds should not be destroyed with imposition, pride or boastfulness.

“All actions are judged by motives, and each person will be rewarded according to their intention. Thus, he whose migration was to God and His Messenger, his migration is to God and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim)
