When somebody has a dream about something they dislike, they should spit three times to the left, seek refuge three times in Allaah عزوجل from the Shaytaan and from the evil they saw. Then they should turn to the other side; then it will not hurt them. Also, one should not inform anybody about their dream. The Prophet صلي الله عليه وسلم said that someone who has had a bad dream should do what I just mentioned. If somebody sees what pleases him, he should praise Allaah عزوجل for that and not inform anybody except whom he loves, as has also been related authentically from the Messenger of Allaah صلي الله عليه وسلم .
