This happens quite often. Most of them are lurkers that have no intention of posting. Some are search spiders from google, yahoo and the like. Seach engines that are PC programs that use random ID's for the pupose of logging on. But they never register. The unregistered accounts can not post and are limited, the accounts automatically delete after a day or two if not activated. However the name can not be used again, so each time they log in they have to make a new account with a different ID.
