Asalamualaikum wr wb,
I personally know the person who wrote this poem...I'm not going to say who...but masha'Allah she did a good job : ) I have audio recording of this poem...its beautiful masha'Allah if u wanna hear it just PM...I mean just sisters insha'Allah : )
Sometimes my mind wonders
And I end up thinking of you
I know that I shouldn’t
But its Shaitan…what can I do..
But shaitan is still helpless
At makin negative thoughts of you
When I think of you your so pious
I could never think bad of you
But it kills me…
coz I know its wrong
you don’t think of me…
its only Jannah that you long
I don’t wanna be guilty
of a punishement befalling you
which might happen
each time I think of you
because our relationship
is a dodgy one
which relies on good
superceding harm
so if I don’t
stop these thoughts of you
Allah’s Wrath
May befall us two
I think too highly of you
To ever let that happen
So I now close the door
On letting my mind mention
My brother…that is what you are
Your nothing more…
Then just another brother.
I shouldn’t have feelings for you
I want u to be amongst the shuhada…
I want you to succeed
In this life and the Hereafter
So I stamp on those feelings
And ask Allah to take them away
And pray that you get Jannah
And He helps you along the way
I don’t think of you now
Coz whenever I do
I quickly repeat
My Dua for you
“Ya Allah! Help him in this life
and bless him with the Hooris of Jannah
Ya Allah! Give him what he wants
Bless him with shahada.”
I suppose I love you..
Like all your sisters do
But its for Allah’s sake
“Ya Allah! Please make that true!”
I don’t pray for you to be mine
Though I still pray about your wife
But not me…any sister
Who will get you to Jannah, the Eternal Life
