this really isnt going to be beneficial. If I give you examples then you will be able to see who they were.

All my request was, was to stop any further beneficial threads being ruined and closed because some members of this online community cannot control their posting habits.

I really cant say whether you have been the cause of any within my recollection but im sure others know who they are. some of the general chat threads are precisely for chatting whereas some of the other more involved threads or opinion threads need to be kept solely on track. I think I have made my point already, and have provided some examples.

Yeah, I have to agree with most of the things said in this topic. I personally feel there is one member who is just jealous of me. Always bickering on about me and my attitude, when if they were to look into a mirror (providing it didn't shatter upon their sight) would find they are not everything they say I am, but far worse.

What is it with these jealous, vile, and vindictive human beings?

If you want examples, I can show you plenty. But I suppose that isn't going to be nice, shaming this immature person up. May God help their poor, lost, and confused soul.

I think people who constantly free-post shud be given temporary bans. and longer temp bans for the people who continually offend.

you mods need to toughen up and you either need to be online longer hours or need to install some kind of lower ranked mods who can police while you're not online.

The admins need to do something i think. and they would need to chose the mods based on their experience.

i don't mind being a mod, as i am online most of the time during days, but it is up to the mods

lol, look at all you guys queueing up to be mods and the admins aint even sed they gonna luk for more mods. haha. i was only suggesting a way to solve the problem. lol

there are many people who are online during various hours.maybe if people stop being argumentative and stopped freeposting on the threads then there will be no need for any changes.

But seriously, I think the mods are doing a good enough job as it is. I also think if a person is asking to be a mod, they're just interested in the 'power' rather than the responsibilities it entails. Just my opinion, take it or leave it.

Check out the new rules Muhammad posted in 'News and Announcements' and I think you'll agree the mods are doing an adequate job.
 
no offence to the modz.. but i think the jobz kinda borin. all you gota do is 'merge threadz' lol. but yeh like bro muezzin said - most people probably just do it for power..

its better to be chosen instead.. like the modz have been.

Yes, but you also have to understand, that is hard to read every post on the forum. Which is why we have given the option to members to report a post, if they feel it is innappropriate. Alhamdulillah many members make use of this already.
