A fire has ignited inside
Demolishing all calmness which resides
it burns so furiously
over sweeping and awaking me
perhaps that sounds too dramatic
but that’s what it feels like, and im not kidding
what is this o Ommah of Muhammad (sallahu aleyhi wa sallam)
do you not realize that your days are numbered
a scholar is slandered
graves, shrines, and idols have us divided
authobillah what is this filth that I see
where in you has departed the creed of beauty?
wheres the brotherhood gone?
why have we allowed out enemy to have us torn?
why has the filth of itkhtilaaf
made its way through our ranks
I wanna fight to keep this ummah clean
I wanna help to eradicate the filth its gleaned
I want to help to bring back its ‘green foliage’
But I know that near impossible with out my sword of knowledge.
I wanna help abolish false hood
I want this ummah back firmly on its feet
indeed he was right who mentioned
that our victory is pointless
when our creed is lost
whilst it is our weapon, when it that we need most
to drive our enemies away,
and hence bring to this ummah happy days :-[
