Hello to everyone,

I have a small question which is I don't know I should ask or not but stil I am gonna ask you it means alot to me.

"is anal sex HARAM in ISLAM or MAKRU"?

Please I need to some reference on it.

I will be highly thankful to you if you take my question in consideration.

Anal intercourse is Haraam.

The Prophet Salallahu Alayhi Wassalam said:

"The one who has intercourse with a menstruating woman, or with a woman in her rectum, or who goes to a fortune-teller, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad."

[Reported by al-Tirmidhi, no. 1/243; see also Saheeh al-Jaami', 5918]

It is known that this act is forbidden even if both partners agree to it. Mutual consent to a haraam deed does not make it halaal.
