Asalaamu Alaykum,
There is probably a few issues that this will bring up but I wish to just focus on one, the permissibility of accepting a gift from someone who works in haraam business.
My mom is a graphic designer and makes most all of her income making images that go on screens, pages, and billboards, often times with human faces/figures. Allahu Alim how permissible this work is. I am concerned about accepting gifts from her and other non-muslims who work in other fields such as insurance, as I have read that it is not good to accept gifts from sources that are against shariah - Is that substatiated or was I reading a bunk ruling? If you know, please provide daleel for any related topic.
Jazak Allah Khair.
