AdVice ;Can an unmarried man marry a divorced woman??

Assalamu Alaikum bro and sisters, I am new to this site,I wanted to seek advice from learned scholars or expert opinion regarding a very important issue in life,...actually im bit confused about this issue.Marriage to divorced woman in Islam ?Can a divorced woman marry a righteous un married man as she desires protection and children in life?societies standards confuse me where marriage to divorced woman is about settling her with any kind of ordinary match that is totally against her wish may be and doesent suit her just because she is damaged goods in society eyes she needs to be married to an equally damaging character .So what is the path that is suitable which is fulfilling for her??

Your society standard is based on culture. Unfortunately, people in your society assume, that's based on Islam.

There's no prohibition in Islam for divorced woman to marry unmarried man.
