السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Last Friday, I lost my grandfather and it was a deep blow to my heart. My grandfather was very close to me and I am heartbroken that he is gone.
However, I am having a really hard time going through the grieving process. The majority of my grandfather's family is Catholic/some kind of Christian/atheist, but me, my brother, and my father are the only Muslims in my immediate family (aside from my family overseas). My brother and father are not as emotional as I am, so I find it kind of hard to reach out to them for advice.
When it comes to the rest of my family, the advice they give me is good, but sometimes hard to relate to from an Islamic perspective.
Does anybody have any kind of advice? I am really upset and I do not know what to do.
