Advice needed about shaykh please

Can anyone here please advice me what it’s like to marry a shaykh. I just would like to know what to expect and what role does the wife play.

Also, is a shaykh just an ‘ordinary guy’ or what?

Walaikumasalaam,

Every human being is unique and different. Every family has their own family arrangements. You are better off getting to know the man you intend to marry in a halaal way insha Allah. The answers you are looking for can only be answered by the man you want to marry. No point trying to compare.


The wife's role and expections are already made clear in Islam. Understand what Allah swt wants from you not a sheikh. This would be better for us.
