Age Window in Marriage

I can't answer this question. I'm married, my wife is 6 months younger.
But I know few youth (brother) who want to marry 40 yrs old woman when they are 25.
I'm sure every muslims in this forum know the reason why they want to do that.

In response to your last statement, about brothers wanting to marry older and your sure everyone knows why? Well I am a fairly new revert and older, Please enlighten me on why they want to do this since I might be the only one who doesn't know why? I would have hoped more of my muslim brothers and wouldn't want to put them into the same category as just all other young guys????? I as being older would look at more than just what they could offer me no matter how old they are.

Following Sunnah Rasul. Do something like RasulAllah Muhammad (saw) did.

That youth brothers want to marry a 40 yrs old sister when they are 25, because RasulAllah Muhammad (saw) married Siti Khadijah when He was 25 and Siti Khadijah was 40.

i just thought of something a few days ago. for a sister, it maybe better to marry someone who is younger (depending on your age) as the whole cultural mentality tends to fade out in the newer generations. so if you marry someone who is older, then the probably of marrying someone who has stronger cultural ties would probably be higher...just my 2 cents...
