The punishment was a bit harsh, why is it even a crime? If he enjoyed the video then that's sick, though even that shouldn't be a crime.

People should not be punished for being losers.

I see your point, but the woman found it offensive. Offending someone can be a crime.

"Miss McClay was shocked, upset and distressed by the images. This is a serious offence and something she will remember for a long time, perhaps for the rest of her life."

I assume she's never watched the news, never seen the bodies of dead people in New Orleans or dead Iraqi's etc. She shouldn't be so squeemish.

Certain gas emissions are offensive - I don't see the producers of them in jail.

I agree with genius. that lady musta been living under a rock for the past few years.

Obviously she over reacted.

With the news, she can choose to watch it. Here, she was shown it. She had no knowledge it was going to be of this nature.

I'm not trying to back her-up or something, but just trying to present the score.

I wouldn't say racist but definately over reaction. I mean, if we take genius's point and mix it up with the lady's logic then I should be sueing the itv for showing me photo's of 9/11. (etc etc)

:sl:

Nevertheless she did say "Aye right" she should have thought twice.
