When someone first hears a recitation of the Qur'an or the adhaan....it is an extremely profound experience.

When I first heard the adhaan (not in real life - one day in'sha'Allah) I remember just feeling the strangest sense of peace and tranquillity. It's such a touching and emotional experience subhanAllah. It still is now tbh. It really strikes a chord.

A non-Muslim friend of mine once said 'That is like such a hauntingly, otherworldly, beautiful sound.' Lol, but it did really affect her.
