Subhanallah today i was thinking about it... and funny when i was lil kid i use to think 'but no one today uses stars to travel around'.... n it just occurred to me that the entire mech/geomatic engineering is based on using stars when it comes to applied engineering in space!

since we always make measurements of distance/speed relative to "fixed, non rotating observers"... so the "fixed" stars are what best approximate this condition up in space...

subhanallah... just thought i share this with you guys.. personally i found it mesmorising... everything is created so perfectly for us mashalah!

btw i just realised.. i didnt even mention wat i was refering to... it's a verse in the quran! added it in first post

And landmarks (signposts, etc. during the day) and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves.
