Imaam ash-Shafiee:

و من الشَقاوة أن تحبَ *** و من تحبُ يحبُ غيرك
أو أن تريد الخيرللإنسان *** و هو يريد ضيرك​

“And from misery is that you love,
and (the one) who you love, loves other than you,
or that you want good for a person,
and he wants to hurt you”.​

Diwan ash-Shafiee.
 
And from misery is that you love,
And who you love is impossible to attain
Or that you want good for a person
And he is forced to be away from you.
 
can you please correct the arabic letter...

Imaam Shafiee has another poem, similar to the first, from Diwan ash-Shafiee as well:

حب من طرف واحد

و من البلية ان تحب *** ولايحبك من تحبه
و يصد عنك بوجهة *** وتلح انت فلا تغبه

One Sided Love

A great calamity is to love,
and not be loved by the one you love.
He'd turn his face away from you,
the more insistent you become.
 
Sorry, I know this is off topic, but have you got a link where you can buy his books of poetry or something? Or a website where they are all collected together?

How many lovers fear igniting the flames of love least they become among the dwellers of the fire?
