As-Salaam alaikum,
Ayat/verse 24 of chapter 12 of the Holy Qur'an, Surat Yusufa, alaihi Salaat Wassalaam, reads:--

"And he felt inclined toward her, except [but that] he saw the sign of his Lord" (12:24)

Here, Imam Abdulaziz al-Dabbagh, may Allah be Merciful to him, noted that the Noble Prophet Yusuf, peace and Allah's Blessings be upon him, "felt inclined
to slap her, contrary to what many commentators say on this. He emphatically rejected that view, as Prophets have isma...protection from sin. When the Awliya/Wali receives illumination, God removes from him 72 veins of darkness.

From one vein arises lying, from another arises pride, from another arises hypocrisy and from another love of the world. From another still arises lust and a liking for fornication. As this is the case with a Wali, how much more so when it comes to a Prophet, since (isma) protection from sin is his natural disposition and his body was formed in accordance with it.''!
