Another problem with my pc

I'm not sure whether this thread should go here or in General Chat. I apologise if if this section is only for technicalities related to the forum.

Anyway, the problem:

My laptop is on a wireless network with the main desktop pc. I was transferring the cd image of Need for speed underground (disc 2) when I accidentally deleted it (I know, how could I?). It's not in my recycle bin. It's not in the recycle bin of the main pc. Where is it?

Did you delete the image in the midst of transferring or after you have transfered?

It's probably deleted (as the option to delete files was not tranfered to the recycle bin)
