i know this is pretty long to read but please bear with me.
first of all i want to thank Labayk and Anni
from my previous threads because they provided me with some benificial advices and now thanks to them im now slowly but aurely pray salahs more frequently in comparison with before. but now i got a question.
i actually did use chatgp, but i wanna be sure by asking actual human muslims, and maybe get an answer, or just say whether what chatgpt said is correct or no, this is the question that i asked:
"im a muslim, and its ramadan. its 6:34 am and i just had a wet dream like the second im writing this to you just as we're speaking. the sensation was as if i was watching to partners doing the "you know". and i dont what happened because i couldn't control myself to not watch the event, but its not like lucid dreaming, i had a wet dream, not wet lucid dream. so for that reason. am i still able to continue fasting? or have i just sinned and broke the fasting?"
and this is the answer i got from chatgpt:
"In Islamic teachings, wet dreams do not invalidate the fast, and there is no sin associated with having a wet dream during Ramadan. Wet dreams are a natural occurrence and not within your control, and as such, they do not break your fast.
You can continue your fast as normal and do not need to make up for it. It's important to note that wet dreams do not affect the spiritual rewards of fasting or your overall religious practice, so you need not worry about any negative consequences.
If you feel the need to perform Ghusl (full-body purification) after having a wet dream, you may do so before starting your day, but it is not a requirement for your fast to be valid.
Overall, you should focus on maintaining your religious practices during Ramadan, including fasting, prayer, and acts of kindness and charity, and not worry about things that are outside of your control, such as wet dreams."
