Al’Humdulillah- that’s all it matter, at least it’s part of communications.
Assalam o alaikum rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
What are your experience of your life with deafness and have you met any people struggling same?
JazakAllah khair

Um, I struggle differently(in my own way) than others but similar experience. I’m in both world: deafness and hearing.
Deaf People have little differences from me because they have not meet in the way I’m living in/my life, that they do not understand why. They struggled lot more than me. I struggled of what I’m facing around people who doesn’t know much about themselves in way they have in their culture- deaf culture. My understanding of what I know about deaf culture. I’m still part of it but they think I don’t. They think I’m more into hearing world - just because I voice them and listen to their voice.
Hearing people obviously understand me clearly but most of them are not educating enough about hearing loss. For instance, they just not enough to get to know with people who lost their hearing..., that’s struggled me differently when it come to have relationship with your partners than friends or people who do understand longer.
Assalam o Alaikum rahamutullahi wa barakuthu.
