Walikum salam Brother,

Welcome to the family of Islam where relationship starts but never ends even for eternity (with your kith & kin) provided we all die as Muslim, Inshallah Ameen.

I loved my Mother too much when she expired i never thought i will ever have again good times again but when I realised Allah will reuniting me with my mother in the hereafter Inshallah and with everyone of my loved ones (provided we die as True Muslims, Ameen ) i recouped my strength.

Noble Quran 2:256 '' There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.''

Thank you, Sister - and same to you.

My first few weeks as a Muslim have been a real challenge but slowly I'm getting there.

I love praying five times a day while listening to the Adhan and reading the Quran. Alhamduillah, I no longer drink alcohol and eat only halal and at some point, I want to start learning some Arabic. Inshallah we'll all overcome our challenges.

That is wonderful, Im happy for you that you are trying your best, slowly and steadily, you will get there and reach the top!

Remember everyone has their own challenges, and what you are facing as a new Muslim, is your own challenge. Im sure you can beat it and nothing will come in the way of reaching high levels in your efforts.
