Another newbie thread, am a Muslim. ASK ME ANYTHING!

Am renowned for my ability to answer almost any Islamic or Historical question on the spot with clear elaboration and citations. I know all the verses of the Qu'ran from the top of my head. I'm a Hafiz. I also happen to know the tafsir to most of the verses also.

Give me a try ask me anything.!

hmm... sorry if this question is not clear but here it goes:

after hijrah there was a jew who was oppressing the muslims and was a bitter enemy of islam, was it the aus or khazraj clan that killed this bitter enemy by the request of our beloved nabi sallallahi alaihi wasallaam? wat was the name of this companion? what was the name of the oppressive jew?

the other clan (aus/khazraj) when discovered wished to benefit islam in a similar way, so they took permission to kill which enemy of islam? and who killed the enemy?

sorry if its not clear :X

if more information is needed then during the first killing, the companion took this jews cousin along with him who was a muslim, what was the name of this cousin?

During the second killing, while the sahabi was trying to escape which part of his body did he grieviously injure?

i think thats enough for now, may Allah grant you abundant knowledge and the Ummah, Ameen ! :)

Congratulations on being an Hafiz - e - Quran.

I have a small question. I heard somewhere that a Muslim man must keep his wife with him. Could you please tell me some supporting Aayats from Quran in support of this.

Hope some informative answer.

I don't understand, this question brother. It's without saying a Muslim man must keep his wife with him otherwise the marriage would be nonsensical.

However, I think your question might be partaning to travel restrictions on the females.

The ruling that a woman may not travel without her husband or a male escort from her immediate family (a mahram) falls under the first category of rulings. We can appreciate the reason for the prohibition. When we understand that the reason for this prohibition is the fear for her sanctity and honor and the fear that she might be taken advantage of or raped, then we know that the issue is one that needs to be weighed in light of the benefits and harm present in a given situation.

Therefore, we have the opinion in Islamic Law that it is permissible for a woman to travel without a mahram when she is reasonably assured of her safety or when traveling poses no more danger for her than staying at home.

I believe, the rulings were different then. Furthermore, many Christians and Jews actually believed the messenger of Allah (pbuh) at the time. I prophet Must have had faith at the time that the Christians would convert to Islam through the will of Allah. However, many Christians most were envious of him and, because of their prejudice and envy, many did not convert to Islam despite knowing the prophet (pbuh) was speaking the truth.

Let me rephrase it "Is it necessary for a Man to keep his wife in the same house as in which he lives himself?"

Some man have separate house for themselves and separate house for the their wife and children. However, it is of same standard of as their own house. It is just matter of their choice.

So is OK or not. I hope my question is quite clear now.

Asalam alakum welcome to the forum
