If a person asks forgiveness with nothing in mind will sins be forgiven?

The importance of seeking forgiveness would require having that sin/those sins in mind by which one is repenting. If, there are no sins to be thought of (past/present) proceed further with asking forgiveness for others (both those believers who are alive and those who have passed to beyond this world). Daily reflection entails that the likelihood exists whereby some sin would have possibly occurred (whether big or small/omission or commission) for instance; was time spent productively, did a wrong thought occur in one's heart/mind, envy, jealousy, malice, lust .....omission such as were rights maintained in our relationships/ignored , did we set before ourselves a goodly loan? (within personal given abilities and opportunities)

“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned.” [al-Baqarah 2: 245]
