Balancing Deen and Dunya and progressing in Both from Quran

Are there any Quranic verses that require us to explicitly strive not only for the hereafter, but also balance it with striving for the world?
If not, is there any sahi hadith?

Dua from the Qur'an .

“Rabbanaa ‘aatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanatan wa fil-‘aakhirati hasanatan
wa qinaa ‘athaaban-naar.” (2:201)

“Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good,and save us from the torment of the Fire!”
