subhan Allah akhiinshallah akhi,
Growing a beard isnt a obligation upon a man, its Allah swt who grows the beard, its the mans obligation to stop shaving off what Allah grows. :shade:
alhumdullillah, what a great point. i believe sheikh yusuf estes said that once. i think he and bilal philips were answering questions and he said something along those lines.inshallah akhi,

sheikh yusufmashallah hes wise and funneh!
It took me over 65 years to grow a beard. Because of my ethnic background facial hair is very sparse on the people of my race (well part of my family tree, I'm mixed race)
After going without any type of face fur, except a sick scraggly mustache, a beard suddenly grew during Ramadan (2007) it has never grown longer then fist length and is still exactly fist length although I do not trim it.
Yes, it is snow white.
