What does it mean to age like a tree?
Beyond the world of materialism, where airbrushed, caked up women
copying from glossy pages deprive their hearts in make up marts,
in a rural Indian town resides a beautiful woman of earthly nature.
A retired college professor, a modest creature.
I see her-
her creased forehead,
the glimmering sun kissed darkened skin,
the soft warm embrace,
the richness in her smile,
the wit in her speech.
People say beauty whiters away with old age, but it simply changes shape and form.
To age like a great tree is to let
spotless trees build layers in the inside
and gain texture on the outside.

Mashallah it's lovely!

That is so true.
So many people are afraid of aging and wrinkles and do everything they can to turn back the clock... They just need to embrace their age.
When you're 20, look 20, when you're 70, look 70.. I can't stand mutton dressed as lamb, eugh.
