I want to enter my area local poetry competition. Can someone please take the time to read and critisize me poem please? Thank you

Beauty

Surprisingly there is beauty in this world
Of havoc, disaster and panic
If your stare hard enough, it will unfurled
That amount of beauty is titanic

There is countless beauty upon earth
It graces us with its different shape and form
There is beauty in death and beauty in birth
Beauty even in the wildest storms

There is beauty in nature, in the seas and in the skies
Flourishing, glimmering and blooming around you
For beauty’s aim is to please
To leave an imprint as it passes through

Sadly, all her efforts are futile, in vain
For you never take the time, it’s too much of a strain
