Beneficial Ayats and Hadiths on the matter :):

Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Verily, in that are signs for people of knowledge.
Surat Ar-Rum 30:22

The Messenger of Allah :saws:, and he said:

O people, your Lord is one and your father Adam is one. There is no virtue of an Arab over a foreigner nor a foreigner over an Arab, and neither white skin over black skin nor black skin over white skin, except by righteousness. Have I not delivered the message?

Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah :saws:, said:

Behold! Verily, there is no good in red skin or black skin, but rather only by virtue of righteousness.
Source: Musnad Ahmad 20885

Abu Umamah reported: Abu Dharr reproached Bilal about his mother, saying, “O son of a black woman!” Bilal went to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he told him what he said. The Prophet became angry and then Abu Dharr came, although he was unaware of what Bilal told him. The Prophet turned away from him and Abu Dharr asked, “O Messenger of Allah, have you turned away because of something you have been told?” The Prophet said:

Have you reproached Bilal about his mother? By the one who revealed the Book to Muhammad, none is more virtuous over another except by righteous deeds. You have none but an insignificant amount.

"And one of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your tongues and colors; most surely there are signs in this for the learned" Quran 30:22

Asalaamu Alaikum,

We must not live our lives caring about what others think of us when they are merely creations like us. What must matter to us more than anything else is what Allah thinks of us. And Allah does not judge us based on our colour, looks, wordly status etc but he judges us ONLY based on our intentions, sincerety and actions.

It is our enemy shaythan who wants to discourage us and make us live in misery by worrying about how we are percieved by others. Therefore we must not spend our lives worrying about how others percieve us and what they think about us otherwise we will live miserable lives purposeful lives.

We must instead only focus on what pleases Allah and refrain from anything that may anger or displease him. We must live our lives ONLY for his pleasure and at his service as the very purpose of our creation is NOT to please or appease others but only to worship, be of service to and please Allah in everything that we do in our lives.

May Allah give us the ability to please him only and make us die whilst he is pleased with us and not displeased with us. Ameen

Are blacks really hated? Most young people want to be black in the UK. They try to talk like black people and act like black people. Not really sure why, but to each their own.

Muslims are not hated worldwide. For sure, you will have some people that won't like Muslims, but it's not everyone.

Asalamualykum,

Yes it may be hard but why let the hate (if you have experienced hate) shape who you are or shape how you should feel about your identity/culture?

Embrace who you are and say Alhamdulilah. Alhamdulilah for everything.

In the UK some/most 'white' people want to get darker by applying a tan lotion and the Asians want to get lighter. What a crazy world we live in. Look at the psyche of people & no doubt the cosmetic industry profiting from women/men insecurities.

That's the sneakiness of the marketing trade - filling a false need when there is no real need.

No human is content with what they have.
