Bengali Section....

hey guys ...since ive been and so have u guys lately been seeing a few polls on languages..i thought i might as well add the poll for who wants a bengali section??:rollseyes ;D

But it's only fair, it's like saying to a huge gathering of people

"you can only have an Arabic and urdu section"

But the majority of the people don't Urdu (i didn't include Arabic cos it's the holy language), although i need to learn Urdu cos there are always ppl that need my help and can't speak English and they only speak Urdu....it wud b nice to speak to them in their own language.

i posted for the third one...i mean wats the point a whole new section!!!???!!! if we v a multiple language sention, we can post any kinda posts related to any language.

but on second thoughts, i want one coz am bengali n want to no ma lingo betta :giggling:

Yes it is, but i heard it is linked to arabic very well...

I'm Bengali and I'm STRONGLY OPPOSED TO A BENGALI SECTION.

We need Arabic because it should be our lingua franca - the Muslim common language.

I'm not sure if Urdu should have a section - but it's quite popular and a lot of scholary work is done in Urdu so it can be beneficial.

Anything beyond that is a bit silly, and too nationalistic. I'm a hardcore puritan when it comes to content on the net - Islamic Board is my only respite from the useless vain talk and junk out on the internet - language sections split up the Ummah and don't really benefit it either.

Just my opinion though. .
