hey i was wondering if anybody doing or has done biology at AS/A level could help me with my essay...i need to write about the functions of proteins in the plasma membrane and i cant find the resources i need..especially books or journals on it..any sort of help would be much appreciated...

I've done A level Bio.

You can talk about proetins used for cell recognition on the plasma membrane, glycoproteins, proteins for transport such as carrier proteins and channel proteins. Similarly you may want to include stuff about facilitated diffusion.

If you look at past papers...they may have this question so check the markschemes. Good luck (sorry im in a rush otherwise i would elaborate)
