Blindness and Its Cure​

From the poetry of al Asma'ee (may Allah have mercy on him):​

شَفَاءُ اَلْعَمَى طُوْلُ السُّؤَالِ ​

The cure for blindness (ignorance)​

is found in lengthy questioning,​

وَ إِنَّمَا تَمامُ اَلْعَمَى طُوْلُ السُّكُوتِ عَلَى الجَهْلِ​

and a lengthy silence upon ignorance
is but total utter blindness.​
