Asalaamu Alaaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barkatu brothers and sisters, friends and family,

I just want to let you know about this new fundraising campaign! Now before you close this thread, please read these Hadith:

Jaabir ibn 'Abd-Allaah that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said:

"Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allaah, like a sparrow's nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise." (Ibn Majaah (738))

`Uthman(RA) said, I heard the Prophet(SAWS) said:

"Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah's pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise." (Bhukhari:vol 8,chapter 65)

SubhanAllah!! Do you not desire this eternal home? Please give me a few seconds of your time to tell you about a very noble and great cause. First of all imagine you live in a community full of drugs, crime, poverty, etc and on top of that you do not have even one Masjid to go to? No place to Worship your Creator, no safe haven for the youth, no center for the community to come to pray and unite? Well, SubhanAllah this is exactly the situation of Muslims in a community in the Bronx. Please for the Sake of Allah, for His Reward, Pleasure and His Eternal Jannah help this campaign to build a Masjid for these Muslims. You can help in many ways:

*1. Download Flyers, Posters and Banners from the Multimedia Section of the BronxMuslimCenter Website (BronxMuslimCenter.Org), you can then hand them out to friends, family, Masajid, Organizations or post them on your website, blog, forum, etc. Please visit this section to view/download

*3. Encourage your Masjid to hold a fundraising drive for this Project, even if only for one day. Please go to the section 'contact us' and we Insha'Allah can send your Masajid official legal documents, and tips to help them start up a fundraising drive.

*4. You can also share the Masjid Fundraising video with all of your contacts (video link below), or re-upload it to your Youtube, IslamicTube, YoutubeIslam, MuslimChannels or DailyMotion Profile. Insha'Allah you will be rewarded for leading to good.

Alhamdulilahi Rabbil Aameen, here are a few updates insha’Allah Ta’ala. The Masjid has raised $3863.80 just online, TabarakAllah in only 3 or 4 weeks. In addition to this the Masjid has raised nearly $50,000 ‘offline’. The goal as you know is to reach $100,000 to get an Islamic Loan (without riba) for the closing cost of the site of the future Masjid. Insha’Allah ta’ala. I ask you brothers and sisters to please be generous and give what you can to the Masjid, insha’Allah your reward will be written down for you in the hearafter and your money donated multiplied and returned to you in this dunya. Please also ask your friends, family and Masjid to donate to this noble cause insha’Allah. If only $10, if only $1, insha’Allah.

Another update: the Brothers and Sisters who are helping with the Bronx Muslim Center USA Inc fundraising have made another video, may Allah reward these Youth, amen ya Rabb. This video has three interviews with some of the Masjid Board, including the future Imam and also some young community members
