Casablanca Prisoners- 9 Years On
Fundraising Event
CagePrisoners and Justice Morocco would like to invite you to- 'Casablanca Prisoners'

On 16 May 2003, a series of suicide bombings shook Casablanca, being the deadliest attacks in Morocco's history.
As a response, the authorities adopted a new anti-terrorist legislation and arrested thousands of people, systematically subjected to enforced disappearance, torture, arbitrary detention and unfair trial. Nine years on, Morocco appears to have been a key country in the War on Terror, selected by the US to be part of the CIA rendition program.
Likewise, it has emerged that several European countries have been implicated in the unfair treatment of individuals detained in Morocco under the banner of 'War on Terror'.
CagePrisoners and Justice Morocco would like to invite you to join us to discuss the plight of the Moroccan political detainees and to reflect over the role played by Morocco in the Global 'War on Terror'.
