Just wanted 2 know if sumbody can translate sum sentences for me, please.
I'm just gonna ask a few for now.

1. Can I listen to this?
2. May you do me a favour?

Also what is the meaning of حالوا ?

Thanks

I must correct u, hmmmm, no I don't know Arabic that well!

:sl:
1. Can I listen to this?
هل يمكنني أن أستمع لهذا؟
or you can say
هل استطيع الاستماع لهذا؟

2. May you do me a favour?
هل تفعل لي معروفا؟
but usually we would say
هل لك ان تساعدني؟
meaning "would you help me?"

Also what is the meaning of حالوا ?
There is nothing in Arabic like "حالوا"
but :
حلوى = Halwa = sweets
except if the person talking to you meant something else like imitating the English "hello" in a funny way
also "حالو" in Arabic dialicts comes from "حاله" which refers to someone's state
"كيف حالو" = "كيف حاله" = "how's he doing?"

It would be much easier if you could give us the context in which the word was mentioned dear sister
