Can someone explain to me Sunnah Al Moakeduh

Like the sunnahs do you before the fard prayers, do we recite and extra surah for the 3rd and 4th rakat?

You are to recite another Surah after Surah Fatiha in the 3rd and 4th rakats of the Sunnah prayer (both Muakkada & Ghair-Muakkada). The recitation of Surahs in this case follow the same format as the first two rakats.
