Can someone recommend me a good biography of the companions

I wanted to read the biography and every single detail on what they used to do. Is there any particular author that conveys it well and is there any place where I can buy it?

So far, I found one on Umar :raha: by Dr. Ali Muhammad Sallabi. ​Should I go with that one?
