Change is something very mysterious and almost unbelievable.
What makes change so mysterious? It's simple, let me explain.
If something cannot be the same as anything different, it means it cannot be anything different, thus it cannot change.

So basically, something cannot be something else without being the same as that thing.
Let me explain further. Suppose a square object became a circular object. That circular object is not the same as the square object, so they are not the same and thus the square object is not the circular object. So did the square object actually become the circular object, or did something else happen.

What I am saying might be hard to grasp, but I tried my best to explain.

No you are just confusing yourself with false syllogisms.

Example:
Statement 1: Birds can fly
Statement 2: A penguin is a bird
Conclusion: Penguins can fly

Obviously that is not true, but where is the mistake?

some changes that happen all the time:
Ice changes into water when it melts and can even become vapour. its three different states for the same material...so it changes form.

a caterpillar changes into a butterfly...maggots and larvaes turn into flies and all kind of insecs. These are the same animals, before and after the change...they just change their shapes.

about your square and circular object:
suppose you have a copper wire which is your "object".
if you shape it into a square, you will have a "square object"
later on you can change it into a "round object" effortlessly

Yes, I have noticed those things as well. But every time we notice something change, it is not always what it seems. For example, water might seem to change into ice in a computer simulation, when in fact it's just an illusion. A cartoon might change into something else, when in fact it's just someone turning pages/scenes.

In a computer simulation you can literally change anything into everything. those are just images...nothing else.
But real ice melting is not an illusion.

But every time we notice something change, it is not always what it seems.

This is why I believe there must be a God, the creator of all that is seen and unseen. If the Big Bang happened we are here as the result of an explosion, think of all the changes that would need to happen in order for us to be here today. Only God could implement these changes.
